We had another company come in the same day prior to Roto-rooter. First we waited all day then they were 1 hr. late, and didn't have the equipment to do ... the proper job. They said they would have to come back the next day to finish. We moved all our clients to the next day, but were worried that this company couldn't fix our backed-up system. I called Roto-rooter and they came at 7pm. Ravi was very professional and came with more than enough equipment to get the job done right. Not only fixed our back-up but identified another back-up and fixed that too. We will call Roto-Rooter next time this happens and refer our friends & Family as well. From the moment the professional individual showed up, he very quickly assessed the conditions of the blocked drain, clearly explaining the dangers of using such products as Draino for the ... long term health of the pipes. He got his needed tools and immediately started working. First, he fixed the broken joint after the u shape and then he fixed the blockage in the drain pipe, under the basement sink, which was not easy to access. He was always very friendly and willing to explain any question I had. After doing a final check with a water load, the result was a perfectly functioning water drainage system! Stefan gave me a fast quote following the flood in July 2013 when my insurance company needed me to have a backflow valve installed to prevent sewer backup. Alex ... and his crew took the jackhammers to the foundation and replaced every stack in the house all the way to city connection - all done in just over a week. I needed it done before the insurance company could replace the floors. Alex and his team did a great job in spite of the underground river that apparently runs about 10 feet under my front lawn! Absolutely fabulous cleanup job and no concerns at all. Would recommend them to anyone.
