I would like to commend Allen on his professionalism and the way he handled himself at my home on Saturday, March 24 and Monday, March 26. He told me from ... the beginning he was new to the job but would do his best to assess the problem and fix it. He worked diligently Saturday but could not ascertain what was causing the sewage backup. I felt sorry for him b/c he was trying so hard. He even called his supervisor who thought maybe we had a problem with our vent in the roof. Alan snaked the sewer line and jetted our vent and this still did not fix the problem. After much work he checked the man hole and found there was a problem with the flow. He then told me to call the City of Danville and let them know they had a problem. I am not in any way complaining about Allen and the work that was done but I think from now on Roto Rooter should check the sewage lines in the City of Danville before starting work. Greg and John installed new shower controls for me, and did a BEAUTIFUL job of it, despite having to go to several stores around town to find a part that ... was improperly machined in the Delta unit I bought from Lowes! The final result is functionally, and aesthetically perfect. They arrived exactly on time, completed the project as quickly as possible, and cleaned up everything perfectly. = Stellar service from two great plumbers!

The drain for the washer collapsed and we called Roto-Rooter in Danville. They just had to spend some time figuring out the jerry-rigged drain system our builder created 44 years ... ago and installed a new line, all in one day. The tech's, Greg and Matt, were great. Victor and Henry are absolutely WONDERFUL! They installed new water lines, a 240v electrical outlet, and a vent for laundry hook-ups and were the most professional, friendly, honest, and thoughtful ... contractors I have ever hired for any job. This install was a huge, complicated project given the layout of my home and not only did they finish the job quickly and on budget, but also took great care to not disturb any of the interior woodwork and ensure their work looks aesthetically pleasing. I cannot thank them enough for their fantastic work and will be hiring them again for any and all my plumbing needs in the future!

Water heater leaked bad and called roto rooter first .I knew it needed replaced and the 2 guys did it fast and made sure the water filter and pressure tank ... were working right and cleaned the aerators in my sinks .They had to run hot water to get air out of lines .They added a shut off valve at my water heater that was not there .I am truly happy since this happened on my 47 th wedding anniversary .What a way to celebrate .But roto rooter made it here fast and got the old heater out and new heater in .At least my hubby and I had water so I could make our anniversary dinner .I have to thank them for such fast service and cleaned up the mess and made sure Everything was back to normal .

I tried to make this rating "5" but your survey would not allow me to change my rating from my earlier review. Anyway, after the struggle to get technicians ... to come to the home, Drew and Tye made it. We had an outstanding experience with these two professionals. It was like a treasure hunt trying to find the root of our sewage blockage, but they worked hard and into darkness, not just to find the problem, but to make the sewer work for a couple days. It will require further labor intensive work to replace the sewer exhaust line but they will start tomorrow at 8:30. I have already recommended Roto-Rooter to two other families needing assistance, but I recommended they remove all frustration by calling them during regular working hours. I couldn't, because of the state of the emergency, but using a telemarketing service will hurt their business

This was our first time using Roto Rooter, and the technician that came out was Frank. Frank was the BOMB! He used the snake trying to find our clog, ... and was having some degree of difficulty finding the clog. He never gave up, and continued to search until he found the source of our problem. After identifying the trouble, he went right to work of getting all the water cleaned up, and was just so pleasant about it. His manners were impeccable, for you don't hear young men very often saying, "yes ma'am", "thank you", or "my pleasure". During such a stressful time, on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, to have someone come out to your house to deal with A LOT of dirty waste water/clean up and frustration, his personality shined through, and he was a joy to have working on our problem. He kept us up to date on everything he had tried, everything he had done, and knew when to call his supervisor. He was just a top notch, plemployee, and he went above and beyond our expectation!! Roto Rooter, you had better hang on to this guy, 'cause he was one in a million!!! Give that boy a raise!! Thank you again, Frank! If we ever need this type of service again (I hope not), we definitely will be requesting you!!!

I have a rental house in 23834. Sometimes there is a problem with backflow into the bathtub, the toilet is stopped up. I call Roto-Rooter & they get the job ... done in a short time. They are great to work with.
